Consolidating all my 2026 purchases into one post rather than writing separate articles for each.
CUBE FACE Hatsune Miku LCD TWS Earphones
The earphone case has an LCD screen that displays the time and battery level, plus Hatsune Miku animations and a pseudo-danmaku alarm feature. This is firmly in "saw it and had to have it" territory — purchased at a bilibiliGoods physical store for ¥349.
Downsides: Short wireless range, modest battery life, requires a proprietary app. Audio quality is below average for the price. Better treated as a collectible than a daily driver.
Ugreen 160W GaN Charger
Multi-port power delivery charger with up to 160W peak output. Metal construction with rounded edges, weighing around 320g. Priced at ¥261 (~NT$1,174).
Note: No extension cord included. Power distribution across ports drops when multiple devices are connected simultaneously — check the spec sheet before assuming full wattage.
Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro
Upgraded from an older GT Pro. Battery life is noticeably better, display responsiveness improved, and comfort is up. Includes ECG capability. Purchased for ¥2,188 (~NT$9,951) after tax deductions.
Ruoshui Liuli Ultra TWS Earbuds
Same brand as the over-ear ANC headphones reviewed separately. Solid noise cancellation and comfortable fit. Better value proposition than the Sony WF-1000XM4 at this price. ~¥219 (~NT$985 shipped from Taobao).
Xiaomi Smart Lock M40 Pro & 4 Pro
Both models support facial recognition and palm vein authentication — among the more advanced biometric unlock options available.
- M40 Pro: 5-inch indoor display, dual cameras (front + bottom), WeChat integration, activity logs. ¥3,190 (~NT$14,355)
- 4 Pro: Similar feature set, slightly more compact. ¥2,050 (~NT$9,225)
- Installation: NT$3,000–3,500
No official Taiwan support channels — you'll need to self-install or find an experienced technician. Palm vein unlock is genuinely more convenient than fingerprint or PIN in daily use.
